By Air : Dabok Airport, also known as Maharana Pratap Airport, is situated in a satellite town about 20 km from Udaipur. Daily flights connect Udaipur with Jodhpur, Jaipur, Mumbai and Delhi. A new airport has been constructed but it is confined to the routes mentioned above.
By Rail : Udaipur is connected by rail to most of the major cities in Rajasthan and many cities in the rest of India. Popular trains connecting Udaipur with Delhi are the Mewar Express and Chetak Express.
Luxury Trains: The Palace on Wheels, Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, Maharaja Express and The Indian Maharaja make a scheduled stop in Udaipur.
By Road : The city lies on the Golden Quadrilateral National Highway (NH) 8, midway between Delhi and Mumbai. It is located 700 km from either city. The East-West Corridor, which starts at Porbandar and ends at Silchar, intersects the Golden Quadrilateral and shares common space from Udaipur to Chittor. You can either drive from Jaipur (6 hours via Chittorgarh), from Kota (3 hours), from Ahmedabad (4 hrs, 30 min) or Surat (9 hours), or take a Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation bus from Delhi.
